I could't resist to buy ...

I could't resist to buy "how i met your mother".

I love the TV series "friends".

When I talk about this, everyone recommend me "how i met your mother".

So I searched the way watching that drama on the internet, but I couldn't.

Some of the streaming service is not on service in U.K.

Recently I joined Netflix, but "how i met your mother" is not there.
(Maybe, in U.S, you can watch it in Netflix)

I had no choice without buying DVD.

However, my Mac Book Pro don't have a DVD drive.

So, I bought dvd drive. It was a big expense.

Today, I watched "how i met your mother".

It was very funny and phrases which appears in the drama are useful for our daily life.

This is effective for me as a training tool of listening and speaking.

I don't regret this expense.

A Progress Test

At the beginning of this week, we took a progress test.
It is the important test to judge whether we have enough ability to go to a next level class.
We have to get 75 out of 100 in listening, 75 out of 100 in reading and 60 out of 100 in grammar.

I got only 60 in listening, 67 in reading and 90 in grammar.
Until I got the result, I felt my improvement.
After the exam, I was disappointed my English skill.
I was disappointed about the result because I had thought my English skill had been improved.

No one in our class could pass the border score.

However, we were allowed to go to a next level class.

I doubt that the exam has the significance of existence.

Anyway, we will upgrade from B1-3 to B2-1 next week.

Travelling to know computing history

Last Sunday, we went to the Cambridge.
It was EF school activity.

There is 2 hours free time.
I went to The Centre Of Computing History during free time.
It is far away from a centre of the Cambridge.
It took about 35 mins by walk.

The centre is not so big, but there are a lot of computer.
Surprisingly, many of the computer still work and you can operate it actually.

In my graduated school, my professor actually use this computer.

That was about 2005. Amazing.

Honestly speaking, I'm not computer mania.
I can't understand how precious these computers so much.
But I think that some of those computers make manias exciting.

I'll start new blog

I decided to start new blog for English diary.

I'm a Japanese.
I am a programmer and also a dancer.
I am staying in London for studying English.
I'll stay here until 14 November 2015.
